Startup Weekend Cluj susţine şi încurajează antreprenoriatul și crearea locurilor de muncă. <a href="http://startupweekend.us4.list-manage.com/track/click?u=ade89356800048d0b6fbec088&id=d167d07600&e=55715e6105" style="color: #C52E26;font-weight: normal;text-decoration: none;">Startup Weekend</a> este o rețea globală de lideri și antreprenori pasionați, uniți de misiunea de a inspira, educa și stimula oameni, echipe și comunități. <em>“Împărtășim idei, formăm echipe și lansăm startup-uri’,</em> rezumă organizatorii în câteva cuvinte ceea ce se va întâmpla în cele 3 zile ale evenimentului. Participanții își vor aduce laptop-urile, cărți de vizită și multă de energie şi vor fi întâmpinaţi de mentori, experţi tehnici și oameni de afaceri care îi vor îndruma spre lansarea unui startup de succes.<br>

Evenimentul va avea loc în <strong>1-3 Martie 2013</strong>, la <strong><a href="http://startupweekend.us4.list-manage2.com/track/click?u=ade89356800048d0b6fbec088&id=a610c49b3d&e=55715e6105" style="color: #C52E26;font-weight: normal;text-decoration: none;">Exclusiv Catering Cluj-Napoca</a></strong>. De vineri seară până duminică echipele formate pe loc din programatori, designeri, oameni de marketing, studenți sau juristi vor construi un business pe baza unei aplicații web, mobile sau a unei idei inovatoare. Aceştia vor fi ghidaţi de sloganul evenimentului: “No talk, all action. Build a startup in 54 hours”<br>

Vineri seara va avea loc sesiunea de pitching: 60 de secunde, fără slide-uri -- doar un microfon, încredere, entuziasm și idei bune. Participanții vor vota cele mai promițătoare idei, se vor forma echipe și se va demara activitatea propriu-zisă. Pe parcursul celor două zile, echipele îşi vor dezvolta propriile idei în business case-uri solide sub îndrumarea mentorilor consacraţi iar in cea de-a treia zi se vor concentra pe definitivarea prezentarilor şi a site-ului de lansare. Evenimentul se va încheia duminica seara cu sesiunea de jurizare a proiectelor şi decernarea premiilor.<br>
